Hazelnook Tales Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to Hazelnook Tales, the YouTube channel of Small World (Oudewand 130, Zutphen, the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce no. 75778629), and to the internal software we use to publish videos on that channel.
Use of YouTube API Services
We use YouTube API Services to upload and schedule videos on our own YouTube channel. By using YouTube API Services through our software, we are bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. The Google Privacy Policy applies to all data processed by Google in connection with YouTube.
Who uses the software
The software is an internal tool. It is used only by Small World to manage its own channel. It is not offered, sold or made available to anyone else, and no other YouTube users sign in to it.
What data we access
- Our own channel: we upload our own videos, thumbnails and video details (title, description, tags, publication date and the “made for kids” setting).
- Our own videos: we read the status of the videos we uploaded, to confirm that they were processed and scheduled correctly.
We do not access, collect or process any data of other YouTube users or channels, such as viewers, subscribers or comments.
Storage and sharing
The access credentials for our channel are stored only on our own computers. We keep a local log of our own uploads. We do not share any data obtained through YouTube API Services with third parties and do not use it for advertising.
Data retention and deletion
We keep the channel credentials only as long as we use the software. When access is revoked, or when we stop using the software, we delete the stored credentials and the local upload log from our computers within 7 days. Any data obtained through YouTube API Services is refreshed or deleted within 30 days, in line with the YouTube API Services Developer Policies. You can request deletion of any data at any time via hazelnooktales@gmail.com.
Revoking access
Access to the channel can be revoked at any time on the Google security settings page.
Children
Hazelnook Tales is made for children and is designated as “made for kids” on YouTube. We do not collect personal data from children. Viewing takes place entirely on YouTube, under the policies of YouTube and Google.
